Day 1: Arrival in Whistle
Leave Downtown Vancouver at 1:00pm to arrive in Whistler at 3:00pm for check-in
Arrive in Whistler and check into your accommodation.
Evening Activity: Relax and explore Whistler Village.
Welcome wine and dinner to meet your new friends
Day 2: Lost Lake and Flank TrailMorning Hike: Start with a Lost Lake Loop (6 km). This is an easy, scenic trail that’s perfect for warming up after your arrival.
Afternoon Hike: Add the Flank Trail (7.5 km) to extend your hike. This moderate trail offers panoramic views of the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains.
Accommodation: Return to your Whistler accommodation.
Dinner: After a day of hiking, unwind with dinner at The Green Moustache (healthy food) or Bearfoot Bistro for a luxurious experience.
Day 3: Garibaldi Provincial Park – Taylor MeadowsDay Hike: Take a 45-minute drive to Garibaldi Provincial Park. Hike to Taylor Meadows (10 km one-way). This stunning alpine meadow offers breathtaking views of glaciers and wildflowers.
If you're feeling adventurous, you can camp at Garibaldi Lake Campground (book in advance) or return to Whistler in the evening.
Accommodation: If returning to Whistler, stay in the village or at Nita Lake Lodge for a more peaceful atmosphere by the lake.
Day 4: Peak 2 Peak Gondola and Blackcomb GlacierMorning: Take the Peak 2 Peak Gondola for an incredible ride between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The views from the top are unmatched.
Afternoon Hike: From the summit, enjoy short alpine hikes such as the Blackcomb Glacier trail or Decker’s Lake Trail (10 km).
Accommodation: Head back to Whistler Village for the evening and relax.
Dinner: Treat yourself to dinner at Araxi Restaurant or Il Caminetto for a refined culinary experience.
Day 5: Cheakamus Lake and Ancient Cedar ForestMorning Hike: Start with a hike around Cheakamus Lake (6.5 km round trip). This peaceful, turquoise lake is surrounded by towering trees and beautiful views.
Afternoon: Add the Ancient Cedar Forest loop for an additional 4 km of hiking through lush, ancient forest.
Accommodation: Return to Whistler for the night.
Evening Activity: Relax at the Scandinave Spa Whistler for a soak in the outdoor hot baths after a day of hiking.
Day 6: Joffre Lakes Provincial ParkDay Hike: Take a 1-hour drive to Joffre Lakes Provincial Park and hike to the stunning Joffre Lakes (10 km out and back). This hike takes you to three beautiful turquoise lakes with amazing views of glaciers and waterfalls.
Accommodation: Return to Whistler in the evening for your last night in the village.
Dinner: Enjoy a final dinner at The Wildflower for an elegant dining experience.
Day 7: Whistler Mountain and High Note TrailMorning Hike: Take the Whistler Gondola up to the top of Whistler Mountain and explore the High Note Trail (6 km). This trail offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, wildflowers, and possible wildlife sightings.
Afternoon: If you want more, take a stroll around the Whistler Mountain Summit and enjoy the alpine environment.
Accommodation: Head back to your accommodation in Whistler Village to relax.
Dinner: Try Rimrock Café for a cozy, high-end dining experience in a rustic atmosphere.
Day 8: Rainbow Lake and DepartureMorning Hike: For your last day, take the moderate Rainbow Lake Trail (11 km round trip). This hike is a bit more challenging but offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and a serene alpine lake.
Afternoon: Return to Whistler Village, pack up, and enjoy a last coffee or meal at Mountainside Coffee before heading out.
Departure: Depending on your schedule, you can either drive home or continue to your next destination.
